It's a strange blend, but it works well, and now each of its songs are available on Spotify for fans to enjoy, just like the Persona series soundtracks before it. Its soundtrack uses a superb blend of wailing guitars, catchy electronic tunes, and a bombastic orchestra. Final Fantasy had been moving in a new direction, and this was Square Enix's way of keeping up with the original style while still being able to experiment with something new. The Bravely Default series started on the 3DS as a spiritual successor to a DS Final Fantasy spin-off that also attempted to replicate the series' roots.
Bravely Default 2's outstanding music is one of the most alluring aspects of the Nintendo Switch RPG, and its recent release on Spotify suggests Square Enix is well aware of this. Revo Linked BRAVELY DEFAULT Concert was held on the 25th of November last year at the Yokohama Arena hall, and featured music from Luxendarc Shokikou, Luxendarc Daikikou and the Bravely Defauly: Flying Fairy Original Soundtrack.Along with its mastery of the JRPG genre, Square Enix is well known for its killer video game soundtracks. With the release of Bravely Default 2 in February 2021, Square Enix proved yet again its skill in both of these fields. Revo Linked BRAVELY DEFAULT Concert will be released in its DVD/BD version in mid-March of this year, although no exact date hasn’t been given yet (most likely 13th or 20th of March). The Linked Horizon concert that took place last November will have a DVD and Blu-Ray version.
